Senior Golang Developer

We are looking for a Golang developer responsible for the development and maintenance of applications. Your primary focus will be the development of Backend applications. You will be working along-side other team members and developers. Therefore, skill to collaborative problem solving and creating quality products is essential.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with other engineers in building applications
Guide junior developers technically
Attend/lead daily stand up meetings
Discuss and write specifications for tasks
Assist system lead with system design
Conduct code reviews as requested
Firmly maintain code standards with meeting up requirements

Skills & Qualification

Graduation in Computer science / IT or similar
Good understanding of coding structure of golang.
Demonstrated ability to translate business goals and initiatives into technical requirements.
Strong understanding of MySQL database (MongoDB and Redis are plus)
Demonstrable experience of architecting scalable and cost effective solutions to ensure and support customer growth
Experience mentoring junior engineers in all aspects of planning, development and testing
Interest in engaging with latest technologies and evaluating strategies to keep the canopas stack up to date.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams effectively.
Experience of using one of the cloud AWS / Microsoft Azure / Google Cloud
Knowledge of serverless architecture is plus
Experience in CI/CD automation is plus
